T.S.S.A. Licensed Gas Technician for contract work

Do you want to work for a growing company in the emerging Green Energy Industry? Are you looking for a challenging career working with cutting edge renewable energy and energy monitoring technologies? If you are then we would like to talk to you if you have the following experience

We have an immediate need for a T.S.S.A Licensed Gas Technician for on going and future contracts in the residential Commercial and municipal space in Ottawa and the surrounding areas. 

Daily Duties

  • Be able to perform installations of gas metering and gas appliances.
  • Be able to travel around Ontario on occasion but maintain a base in Toronto or Ottawa on a project by project basis
  • Fill out our required paper work and reports, time sheets and other administrative tasks
  • Examine building and mechanical plans, job specifications and technical documents for compliance
  • Inspecting buildings to determine conformity with approved plans and regulations
  • Consult with Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Building Owners and agencies from time to time.
  • Preparing reports, and orders as well as Other duties as required

Job Requirements:

  • Completion of grade 12, supplemented with a T.S.S.A Certificate in the Plumbing and Gas Fitter trades recognized by Government of Ontario’s Education and Technology programs and safety organizations.
  • A minimum of five years journeyman experience in mechanical installations in commercial and residential buildings.
  • Has a Safety Codes Level 2 and Gas Level 1 in the Province of Ontario
  • A valid Province of Ontario Motor Vehicle License
  • Must be proficient in the use of computer and data entry using Microsoft Office Suites
  • Have the ability to provide excellent customer service and establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Must be well organized, adaptable and flexible
  • Bilingual in French and English is considered an asset
  • Team oriented
  • The ability to show a proven track record of working on your own and getting the job done right and on time

Licensed Electrician for Contract work

Would you like to work for a growing company in the emerging Green Energy Industry? We have an immediate need for a Licensed Electrician for on going and future contracts in the residential commercial and municipal space in Ottawa, Toronto and their surrounding areas.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Master Electricians License and Canadian Electricians License or US equivalent for both residential and commercial institutional work
  • Have your own tools and vehicle
  • Have all up to date safety standards and training courses
  • A proven track record of reliability 
  • A college program is an asset
  • The ability to speak French is an asset
  • Must be able to handle heights up to 40+ ft & basement & pit depths to 30 feet
  • Ability to work in a very physical environment & involves moving, hoisting, lowering & man-handling tools & machinery components a must.
  • Be able to travel through Ontario and Internationally
  • Knowledge of MS office

Your daily duties are

You will perform preventative maintenance, installations, and repairs. You will respond to unplanned equipment stoppages, trouble-shoot in order to diagnose & correct problems erect & install electrical conduits, conductors & raceways. Service & repair all types of high and low voltage switches in relation to our products relating to its power distribution systems. You have the ability to trouble-shoot & repair all types of residential, commercial and industrial lighting systems. This position starts in January 2010 but we are currently starting the recruiting process now.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years plus experience and be a self starter with a positive attitude that can work on their own to get the job done. We will provide the special training required for our services and have a great compensation plan that works with you.
