November 19, 2010

Utilities Management Solutions Ltd. (UMS) and its partners recently collaborated to make the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario Lottery Home a little more attractive to ticket buyers. The focus of UMS was to make the lottery home more energy efficient for the lottery winners. UMS installed a Solar PV System as well as LED Lights donated by Low Energy Systems Canada and GE. They also put an Avante Smartboxx in the home that will give the lucky homeowners the ability to control their garage door, monitor and control the temperature of the house with their smartphone, from anywhere. President of UMS, Jeremy Laprairie acknowledged that it was a team effort. “I would like to thank all parties involved for their commitment to the project and especially our installation team who donated their time and effort. Everyone truly understood the real benefactors of this project, the children.”
